About German Gold
From Germany to Oman,
an oil built to hold.
German Gold crafts high-performance lubricants in Germany for partners across the world. We're its Oman branch — bringing that craftsmanship to the roads that test an engine hardest.
The German Gold story
Made in Germany, to one standard.
German Gold is a German lubricants producer based in Bremen, certified to ISO 9001:2015 for quality management by DEKRA. Its Engine Power 5W-40 carries Mercedes-Benz approval 229.3, along with BMW Longlife-98, VW 502 00 / 505 00 and Porsche A40 specifications.
Every batch meets the same quality standard whether it ships to a German workshop or an Omani one. What we sell in Oman is exactly what German Gold sends to Europe — the same formulation, made in Germany.
Journey to Oman
German Gold Oman.
German Gold's Oman operation is based in Barka — importing directly from Bremen and supplying garages, fleets, and distributors across the Sultanate.
We launched in Oman because the heat here asks more of an oil than the European market the parent sells into. Summers reach 45–50°C ambient and engine-bay temperatures climb past 120°C. At sustained high temperatures, a high-grade synthetic holds its viscosity and protective film longer than a cheaper mineral oil that thins and oxidises faster.
We carry the same product the parent ships to Europe. We tell customers what it is rated for and let the engine prove it.

The first failure mode is heat.
In the way cars are driven here — long highway runs at sustained high RPM in extreme ambient heat — the parts that feel it first are the ones that depend on the oil's film strength: turbo seals, journal bearings and valve-train surfaces. Hold that film, and they last.
Synthetic base oils with Group III and Group IV chemistry hold their viscosity through a wider temperature band. That is not a marketing claim. That is the test data the OEM approval requires.
Talk to a human.
Wholesale pricing, distributor terms, technical questions about a specific engine — we answer all of it directly.
